Attorney review access

My Blurbly legal review packet.

This page gives counsel one public access point for the canonical legal documents, review findings from the pasted legal packs, and the remaining launch questions that require legal confirmation.

This page is not legal advice. It is a structured attorney-review packet for the current My Blurbly public legal suite.

Canonical Public Documents

These are the documents that should be reviewed and treated as the public legal system. The pasted packs should not be uploaded as separate public terms.

Assessment of the Pasted Legal Packs

Raw pasted packs are not publishable as-is

They include placeholder dates, placeholder Information Officer/business address fields, beta wording, encoding damage and some refund/payment terms that conflict with the current 14-day launch policy.

Current canonical suite is stronger

The live suite already separates core policies from feature-specific terms and includes payment-provider, Brevo, Supabase, AI manuscript, affiliate, ARC and community coverage.

Attorney review is still required

Cross-border privacy, consumer, affiliate payout, AI manuscript confidentiality, payment-provider and South African POPIA review should be confirmed by counsel before aggressive paid rollout.

No duplicate legal system should be created

The pasted packs should be treated as attorney-review input only. The canonical public system is this legal centre and the documents linked from it.

External Standard Checks Used

Paystack merchant/payment posture

Merchant-facing terms commonly require clear customer support, privacy, refund/dispute, acceptable-use and payment transparency. My Blurbly already exposes those routes, but payment-provider settings and support details need final review.

GDPR / UK GDPR privacy notice expectations

Privacy notices should be clear, accessible, state identity/contact details, purposes, lawful bases, recipients, transfers, retention and rights. My Blurbly covers these, but the exact business address and Information Officer details still need owner/counsel confirmation.

POPIA posture

The suite covers lawful processing, user rights, security, retention and cross-border provider use. The Information Officer and business address must be completed before full commercial scale.

FTC / affiliate disclosure posture

Affiliate and creator terms require clear disclosure of paid relationships, free access, referral commissions and sponsored content close to the claim or link.

CAN-SPAM / Brevo email posture

Marketing emails need truthful sender/subject information, a physical/business contact route, unsubscribe handling and consent evidence. My Blurbly has policy language; operational Brevo suppression must remain active.

Questions for Attorney Confirmation

  • Confirm the legal operator name: My Blurbly, Jon Marlow Publishing, Jon Marlow, or another entity.
  • Confirm the public business address, Information Officer details and legal notice email.
  • Confirm whether under-18 users are allowed and whether parental consent workflows are required.
  • Confirm whether Paystack, Paddle or another provider will be the live processor/Merchant of Record and adjust payment language accordingly.
  • Confirm the exact refund position for annual plans, trials, credits, AI reports and heavy usage before refund.
  • Confirm AI provider retention, training and data-processing settings before enabling external AI at scale.
  • Confirm whether non-essential analytics, ads, affiliate pixels or retargeting will be enabled and whether cookie consent is implemented.
  • Confirm affiliate payout terms, tax paperwork, reversal periods and cross-border payout restrictions before live payouts.
